E-invoicing in Poland: the KSeF dates

Since 2026, invoices between businesses in Poland go through KSeF, the national e-invoicing system, in two steps. Here are the dates from the Ministry of Finance, and where Advanta stands in Poland.

The dates

WhenWhoWhat changes
1 February 2026Taxpayers whose 2024 sales, VAT included, exceeded PLN 200 millionMust issue their invoices through KSeF.1
1 February 2026All taxpayersReceive their invoices through KSeF.2
1 April 2026All other taxpayersMust issue their invoices through KSeF.1
Until 31 December 2026Taxpayers whose invoices total up to PLN 10,000 a month, VAT includedMay still issue those invoices outside KSeF, as may cash registers.1 2
1 January 2027All taxpayersPenalties for KSeF errors apply, and the smallest taxpayers issue through KSeF too.2

What it means for your cash

KSeF changes how invoices travel, not when customers pay. Payment terms and late payment stay as they are.

An invoice that arrives as a structured file is faster to check, and checking is what a funder needs before it pays an invoice early.

What Advanta reads today

Companies based in Poland cannot sign up to Advanta yet: it works in euro, for sellers in the euro area. A Polish company can already be the customer on an invoice that a seller in the euro area brings to Advanta. Advanta reads KSeF invoices, ready for when Poland opens.
